Sally and I retired two years ago.  We finally got our renter out in October, 2007 and drove in the Chevy Astro to Breckenridge, Co. to begin the remodeling project.  Breckenridge, Colorado is a former gold mining town located 100 miles west of Denver and is 9,600 feet above sea (Ocean City) level.   We arrived and found that all the furniture was gone.  Had to buy a blow up mattress and sleep on that for a month.  We started to paint all the walls and started some reconstruction on the guest bedroom.  We flew home for Christmas and New Years eve celebration.

      On Jan 5, 2008 we began the real move and rented a moving truck. Sally took a different route and drove with my sister, Chris,  to Colorado.  Thereafter, it was remodeling six days a week until April, 2008.  Everyone in the five buildings had to leave for six months while a remodeling of the outside of the buildings is completed.  

     The Mountains of Colorado are spectacular. The view above is main street of Breckenridge. This is a web cam picture on May 30, 2008. These mountain ranges are about 13,000 feet high.  I skied there with some friends that I knew from my ski club in Washington, DC.   Lew and Barbara who live near Vail, Colorado ski with me at Breckenridge, Vail, and Beaver Creek.  Sally and I take off to visit other places near Breckenridge when we are not working on the condo rehab.  We have been to Steamboat Springs, Leadville, and Denver.

     Sally and I are at the beach now and are relaxing, recovering, waiting for warmer weather.
